The app will prompt the phone to go off once the app detects that another person is within a 3 meter radius. The app has multiple alert systems, each one intensifying as you get closer to the subject. The app demands no permissions that breach your privacy, as no personal or sensitive information is stored by the app. The app uses the unique MAC address of each device to point out whether the infected person had come in contact with healthy people. The Mac addresses are inaccessible to the wrong hands as they're protected through encryption. And since the app doesn't depend on real time location of the user, the privacy of the user is unscathed.
The data stored by the app can only be accessed through the password that the user has to set right after at the beginning of the set up procedure of the app. The encrypted data of interaction can be easily accessed by the user and viewed on a monthly calendar layout.
So, essentially we're creating an online marketing place?
The way we want to give back to the community for supporting our app is through our online shop, which is different from your regular run off the mill online shopping platform. The primary revenue of our platform will be generated through advertisement put up by sellers. The users of the platform get to choose their own desired charity. Since the advertisements on the platform isn't narrowed down to specific target customers, it is exponentially cheaper to put up an advertisement on our platform compared to that of the competition. For a negligible fee of RM 0.5, one can put up an advertisement upto 20 seconds long
One can directly donate bypassing all intricacies if they want to. They can even select their desired charities before donating. 70% of all the revenue generated will directly go towards philanthropic efforts,while the remaining 30% will be used to the maintenance of our platform
