: My team has designed a low cost emergency ventilation machine, "BrEather". The design philosophy behind this work is to build a machine using parts that are affordable and readily available as well as portray a simple process for setup and installation. The purpose of this overall idea is to guide the general public through video tutorials to implement our simple design, build this machine from any corner of Bangladesh and use it after getting it checked and certified by a medical professional. The model is being developed by considering modular design so as to ensure ease of repair, replacement or upgrade in the future. Controls and fail-safe mechanism have been included in this machine. At the moment, this prototype costs under $30, which if we scale up can be reduced.
