: This e-Journal could be an open-access knowledge-sharing platform for all fields of academic study and scholarly publishing. My goal is to set up a responsive and properly formatted website, where researchers may share their articles or findings in a scholarly way. We will publish peer-reviewed academic articles, research papers, Thesis, Dissertation, and Short communication. It would advocate higher study, research, and the evolution of scholarship.
This website could be formed within a short period of time and with an insignificant amount of investment. During the pandemic, it could be a knowledge sharing medium for treating and protecting the Coronavirus in Bangladesh and beyond. The advancement of knowledge would find the cure of COVID-19, scientists believe. I can provide full technical support, already it's in the UI design process. Research findings contain valuable information and intellectual property rights.
In the academic writing and research process, there are several particular technical concerns for authors, including the confusion caused by the proliferation of referencing styles found within higher education. There needs some effective initiative for helping authors, researchers, students, and teachers develop a sense of their authorship in academic writing, which has brought the topic to the forefront in recent years.
Why am I passionate to solve the problem that I am addressing?:
I am greatly influenced by some standard Academic Writing styles and standards (include APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, and Vancouver Style Guide) cutting edge printing technology and modern versatile multimedia publishing platforms. There is a website https://www.banglajol.info/ which has a collection of around 300 journals published in Bangladesh from prominent universities, research centers, and institutions.
Though in Bangladesh there is no such institute that teaches Scholarly Publishing practices and principles and no self-developed standard style guide to do so. I have a piece of advanced academic knowledge and thesis on this particular topic and have a Pro standard design skills on paper formatting and printing technology.
Why my idea/solution is: (i) Unique (ii) Innovative (iii) Relevant/Impactful?: First of all this idea/solution will enable us to achieve the highest standard of academic research, writing, and publishing process. It is impactful in a sense of quality development and generation building. Then it is relevant to our higher studies and research works. Also publishing process involved with the state of the art technology, so diffusion of the innovation process is always there. And finally here comes uniqueness in terms of standardizing the general level of understanding about Scholarly Publishing.
Current status of your idea/solution: Concept Stage
A short story or experience that reflects your entrepreneurial drive/passion: I have participated in the DCCI Entrepreneurship and Innovation Expo 2014 as a promising Entrepreneur. There where I have submitted a business plan about publishing a fortnightly magazine on business and investment. But I could not get investment from the referred AB Bank because of a lack of proper official decorum of mine. I am also an ESDP Entrepreneur trained by BIDA (Code No: 263255), and also working with ''Phone Nityaponno'' as a volunteer, and member of Ek Shop Tech Issues WhatsApp group.
My education and year of study: Five and a half academic years in higher education at the University of Dhaka
Department: Honors from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism in 2009, Masters from the Department of Printing and Publication Studies in 2020.
So my goal is to facilitate the higher knowledge and critical understanding through research and publication around the country, around the world.
