( A relief management system to tackle corruption )
Description :
Our solution is based on relief distribution by demand with various layers of oversight. People seeking relief would have to register through the website or by local vendors using their NID ( if they have one ). They will be given a confirmation message if their registration is successful. The date, time and place of relief distribution will be sent as sms to their respective mobile numbers. Each person would be given a ration card (which will contain a bar code) on the first day. This will be used by the distributor to verify the person in either an online or offline manner.
Our idea to tackle corruption is based on oversight on 3 different levels :
1. District supervisor
2. Manager (Sub-district level)
3. Distributor (Thana/Union Parishad level)
The number of supplied and distributed goods will always be monitored by the system and this can easily detect any kind of anomaly in the supply chain. Also an efficient supply by demand system can be built based on the number of registered people in each area. Overall this will ensure any ground level corruption be easily detected and an efficient relief supply chain.
