: For verification of COVID-19 positivity during admitting patients in hospitals, we are proposing a NID based patient identification system for the safety of healthcare workers.
There will be a two-ended data input and verification system.
Firstly, Disease Testing Centers (like IEDCR) will collect NID number and phone number of the patient while collecting specimen for RT-PCR test. The data whether the patient is tested positive or negative for the virus will be uploaded to a database. The location can be pointed in a map to show where the patient is currently living.
Hospital authority can access the patient information from the database using their login information.
The data can be used by various government agencies to confirm automatically where the patients live and necessary measures can be taken easily.
