Title : CleanX - No Touch Hand Washing System
Description : The recent pandemic(COVID-19) is teaching us that it is high time we shift to no-touch technology as the diseases spread through touching. One of the common ways the diseases are spreading is touching water taps and soap or soap dispenser used in public places. To solve this we created our product. Our product is safe to use, cost-effective and at the same time, it's already ready for mass production. The System utilises the ultrasonic sensor/ IR sensor to detect any movement. The sensor sends a signal to ATtiny85 and drives other components to pour an amount of liquid soap or water depending on what one needs. With this microcontroller, consisting of 6 pins, we can attach two sensors and control a water tap and a soap dispenser and create a complete hand wash system. The dispensary also uses two springs and a motor. The motor is used to push in the drifting piece. After an amount is poured the motor moves back and spring does the rest of the job. In the body, plastic can be used as it is very cheap and widely available. Here we demonstrated the box only. It can be used for both water and soap dispenser. For water, the IR sensor is used for continuous data analysis. IR can easily detect if there is any hand nearby. Whenever hand is not detected the machine stops pouring water. That way we can very easily save water which was otherwise being wasted if one washes his hand for 20 seconds. The power comes from 3 Double-A batteries. Otherwise we can also use a simple circuit to convert 220v ac to 5v dc to run our circuit. This way we can use it by plugging into our ac sources too. To deal with this kind of problem a lot of people are making Automatic Soap Dispenser with Arduino. We wish to make this product more cost-effective. We used ATtiny85 instead of Arduino. It is a smaller Microcontroller, so it fits almost anywhere. It's cheaper and it reduces cost by 60%.
