: COVID-19 is a new phenomenon – comprehensive data onthis pandemic is scarce all around the world including Bangladesh. Risk of failure in planning as a consequence of data gap – people’s lives and economy are at stake. Need for a Citizen Driven Data collection to compliment (not replace) official format data for effective Decision making by the Government of Bangladesh (GOB). Citizen Driven Data Decision (CD3) is proposes a way forward to bridge the data gap to minimise the harm of COVID-19 pandemic to Bangladesh.
